About Trey Carskadon
Trey brings a broad range of skills and background to the BDC team. A studied marketer who’s spent the past 20 years in the field, Trey’s worked as a TV show host, radio show host, published writer, fishing guide, musician and salesman. He’s run retail businesses, launched products and served on several boards. Today you’ll find him wearing quite a few hats. He’s a BDC partner and Vice President. He’s also a commissioner on the Oregon State Marine Board and a lobbyist for the N.W. Sportfishing Industry Association. Trey’s marketing acument isn’t confined to fishing and boating. He’s worked across several industries including: medical, financial, real estate, food/culinary, travel, insurance, resort and non-profit. Trey prides himself on his personal work ethic and a constant reminder he keeps in his office that’s etched on a cup his father gave him that says, “The Only Substitute For Work Is A Miracle”. Trey’s range of marketing talents includes: market planning, strategic campaign development, budgeting, creative, copywriting, media buying, photography, video production, studio production, Internet marketing, direct mail, brochure production and all phases of advertising.
Trey’s an avid boater and fisherman who spends most of his free time on the water. When he’s not on the water he’s at home contemplating the next great campaign over a glass of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
